This is Wilson Peak from Last Dollar Road near Telluride. I’ve had this spot bookmarked to photograph for years, but conditions never lined up for the perfect shot. Year after year I’ve encountered blue skies, too many clouds that blocked the sun or no snow on the peaks. Finally a spectacular autumn morning congealed with vivid fall colors, a warm glow on gorgeous clouds, and snow-capped peaks.
