This was an unexpected shot. I was set up in the West Elk Mountains waiting for the clouds to lift, but the sky was completely socked in so I decided to drive back to Crested Butte for a resupply. Heading east, the sky was clearing as I neared Crested Butte and saw this scene as I came around a bend. The clouds remained so just long enough to take this photo and then shrouded the mountain once again.
