This is one of the only sandstone waves on Earth, but it is not the famous wave. The star trails are the result of a 30 minute continuous exposure sequence. I continued the circular pattern of the sandstone in the star trails by framing Polaris above the butte. The foreground is so bright because there was a 3/4 moon to light the scene.
