I hiked up to the cliffs above Chaco Canyon during late March snow to capture the beautiful aesthetic.
Chaco Canyon, New Mexico is a valley filled with the ruins of a one time city of the Puebloan people. Archeologists posit that Chaco Canyon was the administrative center of a network of surrounding villages, connected to the city by roads. The Puebloans were farmers and ranchers, but slowly disappeared from the region by about 1300 AD as the climate shifted from semi-moist to arid.
