Mt. Fitz Roy looms behind this idyllic Patagonian scene with a clear, drinkable stream and blazing orange Lenga Beech along its shores. In a concentrated search for a unique composition in this famous wilderness, the sun peaking though the trees precipitated this photo. However, after I methodically set up my tripod and chose my settings, I found that the sun had moved enough to become obscured by branches, and I had to reposition to catch the star-burst.
